Speaker’s profile
In 1981, he entered the Chugoku Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (then known as the Hiroshima Ministry of International Trade and Industry) where he was responsible for small business policy, human industry policy, business establishment policy, and overseas development policy. From April 2011, when he switched to his current job, he has been in charge of ‘The Chugoku Region Ruby Business Forum’, as well as ‘The Chugoku Region Solar Battery Forum’ and ‘The Chugoku Region Built-in System Forum’, among others.

Presentation outline
The Chugoku Region Ruby Business Forum, established by the leader of theChugoku Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry in the 2010 fiscal year,will focus on introducing projects which are funded making an effort inpromoting the uptake of Ruby Business and business model architecture.
The Forum will also tie up with an introduction to the ongoing effort for Ruby’s use in business and provide examples of real-world examples of on-going promotion activities.
