Speaker’s profile

Lecturer Rokui joined Shimane University in April, 2003. He received his Ph.D. in 2003 from Japan Advanced Institute Science and Technology and from 2000 to 2001 he was a director of Curio City Inc. He is engaged mainly in the research on machine learning, speech recognition, biologic information processing, and compression encoding. He is the member of IEEE, the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, and Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence.

Development of the safe information control tool which achieves the high compression, high security, and low load using Ruby on Rails

Presentation outline

We proposed tree structure lossless compression coding technology in 2007. High compression and high security data storage technology can be realized by using this technology. Moreover, this research can be broad practical use as an encryption tool incorporating various compression technologies. Now, the use verification using Ruby on Rails is completed. For this reason, introduction to a WEB system can be performed easily. Application to the remote place medical terminal which utilizes the smart phone is aimed at from now on.
