Speaker’s profile
Prof. Noda graduated from the graduate school of Hitotsubashi University. He is now studying and teaching the economic influence of the information technology, at Shimane University. He is presenting some study papers on the relation between open source development style and the productivity in information service industries at academic societies domestically and internationally. And he is leading the collaborative research of stabilization and the upgrade of OSS centering on Ruby as the Shimane University’s project research.

Shimane University is conducting Open Source related research and education. In the Research Project Promotion Institute, Shimane University, The project is called “Stabilization and Business Models for Open Source Software” with the cooperation of industry, government academia, and the software development community. In this session, associate members of the collaborative research will present the up-to-date research outcomes.
