Presentation title

Advancing Net::HTTP

Presentation outline

Net::HTTP is a great Ruby HTTP library. In this talk, I will talk about the technical details of my improvements to Net::HTTP. I will talk about why a pure-Ruby reactor is a good idea, and how existing protocol libraries can be improved to make it easy to have asynchronous operations without special async versions.
